MARTINI & ROSSI® Extra Dry’s rare woods, herbs, citrus and raspberry extracts are the pillar of the 20th century’s defining drink: the Dry Martini cocktail. First introduced on New Year’s Day 1900, after 10 years of development by Luigi Rossi’s sons, MARTINI & ROSSI® Extra Dry has at its heart the violet-scented tartness of Florentine Orris – iris roots grown for three years before being sun-dried.
MARTINI & ROSSI® Cocktail Gin
Without any doubt one of the most iconic and complex cocktail of the history of mixed drinks. The Classic Martini & Rossi® Cocktail is a mix of 6 parts of Dry London Gin and 1 part of Extra Dry Vermouth garnished with an olive or lemon twist, it is generally stirred in a mixing glass and served in a “V” shape glass. The version made with MARTINI & ROSSI® Extra Dry Vermouth creates floral notes that balance perfectly the aromatic, pungent notes of the London Dry Gin, creating an extraordinary complexity and a unique taste.
