The Old Pal is a good friend of the Boulevardier. Similar in many ways, except instead of the fragrant botanicals of MARTINI & ROSSI® Rosso, it prefers the crisp citrus of MARTINI & ROSSI® Extra Dry.

MAKE AN

OLD PAL

Step 1
Let ice rest in a short glass tumbler.
Step 2
Pour a single part (15ml) of MARTINI & ROSSI® Bitter and MARTINI & ROSSI® Extra Dry.
Step 3
Commit to a Rye Whisky and pour a nice quantity (45ml).
Step 4
Twist the oils from an orange peel.
Step 5
Find a nice seat, and make the most of it.

After the success of the Boulevardier, the bartenders of Harry’s Bar in Paris were asked to give it a dry twist by an ‘old pal’ of their own: William ‘Sparrow’ Robertson, then sports editor of the New York Herald.
